FYI: If you miss a day due to no fault of your own, like power failure, loss of internet or even being hospitalized; resume posting ASAP and send a "Member Message" to the GB Moderators. Request restoration of your string of days, they may need prodding, but they will do it up to 3 times. Warren {:D)

So winter has been a none event for many and that appears to be pattern I noticed almost 40 yrs ago in northeastern IL.

Snow? ... maybe late Jan-early March here.

Hi Mel,

I suspect that you have received more than the 1 inch for northeastern IL [where I live].

Being south of Rte 137 [an east-west highway close to the WI border], we typicall miss most of the snowfall.
The city of Chg [call it a heating blanket] and lake MI [call it a heating bottle] cause most weather fronts to divide to the south [hitting northwesten IN] and north pushing noth of Rte 137 into WI.
